After sharing a really strange AI movie on social media once more, Donald Trump has caused a great deal of internet criticism.
The White House and the 79-year-old Republican have developed a practice of swapping artificial intelligence-generated visuals and movies.
The ’embarrassing’ portrait of Trump as Superman, the ‘childish’ Bruce Springsteen clip, the bizarre May the Fourth image, and the horrifying ‘Gaza Dream’ movie were just a few examples.
However, he has gone a step further with his most recent upload on his own social media site, Truth Social, which shows former President Barack Obama being taken into custody and placed in jail.
On Sunday, July 20, Trump shared the TikTok video, which shows Obama saying that “no one is above the law” at a rally speech.
The AI movie, which was produced using actual footage of the two men meeting at the White House back in November 2016, when the Republican was president-elect and Obama was ready to leave office, then depicts him getting handcuffed by police enforcement during an Oval Office sit-down with a very amused Trump.
Then we see Obama in an orange jumpsuit in a federal prison, being dragged away.
Oh, and ‘YMCA’ by The Village People, which has since become Trump’s personal theme song, serves as the soundtrack for the entire event.
Upon seeing the clip, one X user questioned: “Is this customary behaviour for a president of the United States to put out this kind of footage of a former president?”
“Why is he obsessed with AI this is getting embarrassing,” lamented a second, while a third agreed: “It goes with saying, this is an embarrassment.”
A fourth worried: “Now his old voters are gonna think it’s real.”
“That’s actually wild work from Donald here,” penned a fifth, while a sixth hit out: “This who y’all voted for?”
Another said, “Remember, Trump has a criminal record.”
“Trump is the one who is a real convicted felon,” echoed a last X user.
In actuality, Trump is the first person with a criminal record to hold the presidency.
Obama has not yet responded to Trump’s AI video, but, given that he is also sharing fictitious prison mugshots of Obama Cabinet members, it is obvious that Trump will not be halting his internet diatribe anytime soon.
